Compressed air hoses are available in two main variants, rubber air hose and PVC air hose, but also in tubes made of polyamide/nylon air tubes, polyurethane air tubes, PTFE air tubes etc. The air hoses may have textile insert to insure pressure resistance.

High pressure hoses may have simple or multiple textile insertion, insertion of polyester or metal inserts.
