Glass fiber reinforced epoxy sheets, are provided to our customer in the form of plain sheets / plates. This material is made by laminating epoxy resin together with a fiberglass fabric structure.
The glass fibre reinforced plastic material is resistant to high temperatures (up to 180 ° Celsius) and has excellent mechanical and electrical qualities, being a good electrical insulator too.
This kind of material is suitable in mixed mechanical and electrical applications. It can be used to create electrical plates, switching terminal boards, switching applications, insulation and protection applications and more. It may be the ideal solution for situations which warm components are isolated during operation due to its temperature resistance, but also in the presence of mechanical stress and while mantainin excellent electrical insulation capability.
